Who doesn't know Majaz?
The poet of romance and revolution was born in Rudauli town in Awadh [Uttar Pradesh].
In this couplet, Majaz says that, 'O my companions, you may be worried about my future or carry any feeling about my fate, but I am least bothered about it and have no iota of sadness that how I destroyed [ruined] myself'.
His real name was Asrar-ul-Haq and he attained such love that it is not even understandable in other countries that how poets and works, their lives, can evoke such passion, even after the poet has died, decades ago.
